Korean artist HyeRyun Lee was born deaf, which greatly contributes to the way she interprets sound, vibrations, and space. Her perspective on bodily subject matter such as the heart, veins, breath, and brain activity, lend to her visual language as seen through vibrations. Evident in her titles Howling in Space, Vibration Scene, and Vibration Landscape, Lee seeks to explore what may not be visible or audible, but what we are able to feel.
