Selected Highlights

Shinduk Kang

In this new Tulipa series (much bigger in size), the flower imagery is more focused in shape and mass with the color blocks contrasted against the line drawing of the vase and water lines. Her use of color here is not naturally occurring in tulips, so these are largely made up in her abstraction process.

Jungmi Kim

Focusing on unconscious expression using paint drips, Jungmi Kim attempts to construct a feast through energetic colors and layers of fantasy. Allowing the paint to drip on its own, it creates a marble-like swirling effect that ebbs and flows.
